How API keys work

Every workspace has its own key. The key is your login for this dashboard, the CLI and the API.

Ask your admin
The person who runs this Video Studio server creates workspaces and sends each one its key.

Running your own server?
Create a workspace on the server with: video-studio create-tenant "My team". It prints the key once.

Paste it on the login page
The key is stored as a secure cookie in this browser for 7 days.

Lost your key? Ask your admin for a new one. Keys cannot be shown again after they are created.
